cars > children (both in mass and actual/theoretical value)
Sometimes I get pretty angry about all the money I have to spend on my car, especially since I hate driving. But then I think about how much the upkeep costs on a child, and how useless they are in comparison (good luck trying to use a 4 year old to carry disassembled Ikea furniture), and it makes me feel slightly better.
A car would hurt a lot more than a child coming out of your vagina though.
